Church Renovation # 10 – What happens now?

Last week I announced the Parish Hall Meeting that will take place following the 11:30AM Mass on Sunday, June 17th in the parish church. I hope to have drawings showing the planned changes and improvements. Come with your questions. I suggest that you re-read all the bulletin inserts. It will be nice to imagine all that we have planned while gathered in the church.

We have chosen a contractor and they are actively involved in projecting costs for each part of the project. I am hoping that some of you may wish to sponsor a particular part or element of the renovation. We already have a sponsor for the baptismal font. We have also received an anonymous gift of $50,000 toward the project and a promised gift to assist with the flooring in the sanctuary. Some of you have made special donations that have been placed in the renovation fund.

Each of you will be asked to accept the challenge of contributing to the project. A cash gift is certainly the most direct way to give. We will be suggesting other ways to give and to support the project. Donors will be recognized and noted. Consider a gift in memory of a loved one or for a special purpose.

I am very pleased by the supportive and exciting conversations I have heard regarding the renovations. Come to the parish hall meeting and learn more.
