Journey of discipleship

Each Lent, we are invited to walk the journey of discipleship more fully, faithfully, and intentionally.  As our love of God increases, we perceive the Holy Spirit drawing us to trust more deeply.  We may not always understand God’s ways, yet trusting God with our lives, we will find the grace to let go of the desire to know what lies ahead.  Living in such trust strengthens our resolve to give freely of our life and resources, as Jesus gives completely.  This Lent, let us grow as stewards who listen for the voice of Christ, act in trust, give ourselves away, and bear great fruit.  Leisa Anslinger, The Generous Heart
